Overview

Mr. Jaewon Choi has been selected as an outstanding lawyer by the Korean Bar Association. During his time serving as a full-time public defender, he handled a range of criminal cases and achieved lots of acquittals. He worked for a maritime boutique law firm for a long time and he was in charge of international arbitrations and international litigations, and has vast experience in corporate advice, international transactions, and the shipbuilding & marine industry. He also serves as a member of National Tax Review Committee and Tax regulation review Committee of the National Tax Service (Busan Branch), and has experience advising on a wide range of corporate and business tax issues. He is also in charge of medical device and pharmaceutical cases, and has extensive experience giving lectures related to the Medical Service Act and the Medical Device Act. He obtained a master's degree in law from USC Gould School of Law in the United States, and then worked for the LA District Attorney's Office and ACI Law Group. He is now a partner of SIWOO LAW FIRM.
